Benefits Specialist II

Go Auto is seeking a meticulous professional to enhance our employee benefits offerings, oversee disability programs, and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Benefits Administration along with strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and bank transactions with billing records.
  • Conduct chargeback reconciliations for Go Auto entities.
  • Manage disability claims, including Short Term, Long Term, and Workers Compensation.
  • Oversee employee benefits, ensuring accurate premium adjustments for employees on Leave of Absence (LOA).
  • Process onboarding and offboarding in UKG for Short Term Disability Payments.
  • Calculate and execute Short Term Disability payments.
  • Generate journal entries in QuickBooks.
  • Collaborate with First Canadian for Benefits Administration.
  • Address inquiries from employees and management.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements for greater efficiency.
  • Provide support and backup for Benefit Specialist I.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • HR diploma or CEBS certification (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Benefits Administration and disability management.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with analytical skills.
