Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and concise communication/assistance with Customers in High Caliber Retail store about our company, products and services
  • Provide Excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • A/R Receipt Batch Entry (enter customer payments)
  • Daily Posting (A/R, A/P)
  • Process customer credit card payments for Retail/Cash accounts
  • Monthly Post and print Customer A/R Statements, and mail/email to customers
  • Monitor and follow up on Retail Past Due A/R Accounts/Ageing
  • Daily Cash/Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Count and monitor weekly cash drawer float
  • Monitor, prioritize and organize work flow for customer quotes, entering sales orders/invoices, payments and any correspondence
  • Learn knowledge of the products/services in the High Caliber Retail department
  • Excel at working in Sage Accpac for customer orders/invoicing and POS Orion for High Caliber Retail department
  • Take Retail calls over the phone/in person and process sales orders in Accpac accurately for pick up or shipping, getting all details from customer accurately and efficiently
  • Process online webstore orders accurately for pick up or shipping, coordinate any details with customer/coworkers regarding shipping or products
  • In High Caliber webstore, take pictures, maintain pricing and product details
  • In High Caliber webstore, process customer orders daily, communicate with customers regarding products and shipping, follow up if needed
  • Organize and Maintain showroom by facing/rotating products, stocking shelves, creating price tags/signage, product displays
  • Add content and pictures to company social media accounts (Facebook & Instagram)
  • Re-package any products that need to be done
  • Provide exceptional customer service with Retail and Refrigeration Teams, from time of order to follow up after shipping
  • Have a flexible schedule to work pre-scheduled events (Saturdays, customer events or annual inventory count)
  • Cross-training with other Retail staff to cover for holidays, coverage, etc
  • Main contact for office equipment (Konica Minolta Copier/Scanner, printers) for maintenance/issues/ink
  • Main contact for ordering office supplies through Madill (paper, cartridges, office supplies)
  • Main contact for incoming mail coordination and distribution
  • Main support for postage machine (obtaining funds to operate) and any operational issues
  • Conduct monthly office inspections and coordinate any COR Safety Program tasks
  • Cross train with Inventory Specialist to learn all supply chain components of creating price structures, create Purchase Orders for immediate and seasonal items, Receipt of Goods
  • Cross Train with Inventory Specialist to ship orders/products and Receive products
  • Sausage Class Coordination – arrange all details for Sausage Making Classes, including cleaning Staff and Test Kitchens, arrange for supplies, contact students, coordinate all booklets/aprons and supplies
  • Availability to work pre-scheduled flexible hours to accommodate Sausage-Making Classes, Events, annual inventory and the odd seasonal hours
  • Maintain regular consistent and professional: attendance, work standards, punctuality, office attire adhering to relevant health & safety procedures and company culture

Required Skills, Experience, and Training/Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of basic Accounting
  • Experience in administrative office environment
  • Experience in Retail environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience working in Great Plains Software or like program is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal / team building skills, reliable and trust worthy
  • Be adaptable, accountable and an analytical thinker
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) in a wide variety of settings with a wide variety of people
  • Effective, organized, time management and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure
