We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations at our newest brand, Factor. As a key member of our Kitchen Operations team, you will play a crucial role in delivering a consistently outstanding product to our weekly customers while rapidly scaling this new business.

This role offers a predictable and consistent 5-day schedule, with PM shifts. You will be responsible for training, coaching, and developing a team of hourly kitchen employees, managing performance metrics, and maintaining the highest health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and develop a team of hourly kitchen employees
  • Manage performance metrics on safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and morale
  • Maintain upkeep of the kitchen, including equipment and inventory
  • Ensure the kitchen operates with the highest health and safety standards
  • Track and manage food storage, rotation, and quality
  • Work closely with other departments to execute plant-wide process improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience as a Sous Chef in a commissary kitchen with high-volume food preparation
  • Computer literate; comfortable with Microsoft Office / Google Suite applications
  • Ability to lead, train, and develop a large group of employees and manage an active kitchen
  • A problem solver's mentality; ability to see problems as opportunities and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills; ability to adjust communication style to different audiences
