Client Relations Specialist

Beneva, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Client Relations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Disability Management Department, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, analyzing insurance portfolios, and providing expert advice to ensure optimal results.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including regular meetings to discuss portfolio performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Insurance Portfolio Analysis: Analyze disability, life, critical illness, and specialized health insurance portfolios to identify areas for improvement and provide data-driven recommendations to clients.
- Claims Management: Work closely with the claims team to ensure timely and effective resolution of claims, and provide coaching and guidance as needed.
- Business Development: Participate in the acquisition and implementation of new business, and work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth.
- Project Management: Lead special projects, such as changes to computer systems, development of procedures, and statistical reports, to support department goals.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in the Life and Disability claims Group Insurance Industry.
- Language: Excellent command of the English language; French is an asset.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, self-reliant and organized, team player, strong analytical skills, ability to adapt to any situation, excellent customer service skills, first-rate presentation skills, strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
