Calgary, Alberta, Canada Meritas Recruiting Inc. Full time

We are working with an oil and gas company located in downtown Calgary, and as they continue to grow they are planning to expand their Accounts Payable team. If you are an experienced Accounts Payable clerk this might be an excellent opportunity to join a great team.

Responsibilities of this role include:

Invoice processing in compliance with corporate policies

Identifying appropriate actions to resolve invoice discrepancies both internally and with vendors

Communicating with field staff and responding to various queries around invoice processing

Preparation of journal entry vouchers

Monthly account reconciliations as required, and

Other ad hoc duties and projects as needed.

Qualifications required for success in this role:

Five or more years within an accounts payable function, preferably in the oil and gas industry

Experience working with OpenInvoice and Qbyte FM

Strong Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel
