Project Manager

Job Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of Mass Timber Projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in conjunction with clients to achieve all project milestones.
  • Manage the submittals process, ensuring clear documentation and timely approvals.
  • Maintain and track all financial aspects of projects, including budget to actual forecasts and construction cash flows.
  • Manage the procurement process, including relevant subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Provide alternate design, specification, and construction solutions when problems are encountered.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to establish project budgets and final contract details.
  • Monitor internal project specific design, manufacturing, purchased materials, and service costs.
Requirements
  • Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects according to scope, budget, and timeline expectations.
  • Project planning, risk mitigation, time management skills.
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
  • Contract review and negotiation.
  • Problem-solving and leadership skills.
Working Conditions
  • May require travel to project sites or corporate location as required.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Occasional exposure to dust, noise, and fumes when visiting various sites.
  • Desk work with interruptions and an expectation of ability to refocus quickly.
  • Ability to occasionally lift 10 lbs.
Compensation Package
  • Starting salary: $85,000.
  • Hybrid schedule, Monday - Friday.
