We are seeking a highly skilled Security Manager to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our Corporate Security team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security best practices to protect our infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach a team of security specialists to support IT projects and operations.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our cybersecurity posture through innovative security controls and measures.
  • Lead the hybrid cloud infrastructure security transformation and collaborate with infrastructure teams.
  • Foster secure-by-design and secure-by-construction practices across the organization.
  • Identify and implement effective security controls, measuring their impact and effectiveness.
  • Support security technical testing initiatives and facilitate remediation prioritization.
  • Prepare insightful reports and present to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with security stakeholders, including Managers, Directors, VPs, CISO, and CIO.
  • Partner with the Corporate Security team to implement IT Security policies and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on cybersecurity industry trends, threats, and solutions to protect against evolving threats.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to detect, understand, and mitigate immediate risks.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in information security and cybersecurity.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Recognized certification in information security (CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH, or other).
  • Advanced knowledge of security capabilities, controls, and standards (MFA, DAST, SAST, DLP, WAF, Bot Manager, NIST, CIS, PCI DSS, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud technologies, hybrid cloud environments, and cloud security.
  • Experience with budget and business operations management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Bilingualism is required for candidates located in Quebec.
