Training Specialist role involves designing, developing, and delivering training programs for sales and customer service teams, utilizing instructional design principles and learning technologies.

Job Title: Training Specialist

At Bell, we're committed to advancing how Canadians connect with each other and the world. As a Training Specialist, you'll play a key role in delivering training programs that enhance the skills of our sales and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate training sessions for small and large groups, using various delivery channels such as classroom, web conferencing, and e-learning.
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that meets the needs of our target audiences.
  • Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design to improve training effectiveness.
  • Develop supporting materials and media, such as audio, video, simulations, and role-plays, to enhance the learning experience.
  • Conduct needs analysis and provide proactive training solutions to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely training and measure its effectiveness.
  • Provide regular project updates and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Critical Qualifications:
  • Proven training and presentation portfolio.
  • Previous experience in instructional design and lesson planning.
  • Ability to write effective instructional text, audio, and video scripts.
  • Ability to design and deliver facilitated learning and adoption programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in Adult Learning or related field.
  • Experience facilitating learning to groups and understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Knowledge of the competitive telecommunications market and bilingual communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and experience working with a Learning Management System.
  • Experience working in a corporate environment and project environment to produce deliverables within a specified timeframe and budget.
Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel up to 20-30% of work time.
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours when necessary.
  • Bilingualism required: ability to interact with French and English speaking stakeholders across Canada.
