Training Specialist role involves designing, developing, and delivering training programs for sales and customer service teams, utilizing instructional design principles and learning technologies.
Job Title: Training SpecialistAt Bell, we're committed to advancing how Canadians connect with each other and the world. As a Training Specialist, you'll play a key role in delivering training programs that enhance the skills of our sales and customer service teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate training sessions for small and large groups, using various delivery channels such as classroom, web conferencing, and e-learning.
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that meets the needs of our target audiences.
- Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design to improve training effectiveness.
- Develop supporting materials and media, such as audio, video, simulations, and role-plays, to enhance the learning experience.
- Conduct needs analysis and provide proactive training solutions to improve sales effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely training and measure its effectiveness.
- Provide regular project updates and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Proven training and presentation portfolio.
- Previous experience in instructional design and lesson planning.
- Ability to write effective instructional text, audio, and video scripts.
- Ability to design and deliver facilitated learning and adoption programs.
- Post-secondary education in Adult Learning or related field.
- Experience facilitating learning to groups and understanding of adult learning principles.
- Knowledge of the competitive telecommunications market and bilingual communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and experience working with a Learning Management System.
- Experience working in a corporate environment and project environment to produce deliverables within a specified timeframe and budget.
- Willingness to travel up to 20-30% of work time.
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours when necessary.
- Bilingualism required: ability to interact with French and English speaking stakeholders across Canada.
