Job Title: Senior Manager of Shared Service PayrollThis is a leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with a passion for payroll operations. As the Senior Manager of Shared Service Payroll, you'll be responsible for leading a team of professionals who deliver payroll services to over 44,000 employees across Canada and the US.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of shared services operations.
- Provide Leadership and Guidance in aligning shared services initiatives with business goals and objectives.
- Drive Continuous Improvement and best practices to optimize processes and enhance service delivery.
- Oversee Day-to-Day Operations and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Establish Metrics and Benchmarks to measure performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and Lead a High-Performing Team and provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders across departments or business units to understand their needs and requirements.
- Manage and Resolve Issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Develop and Manage the Budget for the shared services department and optimize resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 8 Years of Experience in payroll, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong Knowledge of Payroll Laws and regulations.
- Experience in Managing Payroll Operations using various HRIS or payroll systems.
- Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Strong Leadership and Communication Skills.
