About TMF Group

Key Responsibilities:
The main responsibility will be to produce accurate and timely payrolls
in multiple jurisdictions across Canada while adhering to tight
deadlines.
▪ Manage multiple, full-cycle payrolls for client employees
▪ Process timely and accurate payrolls while updating and
maintaining payroll records
▪ Maintain voluntary and involuntary deductions and prepare
requisitions for payment
▪ Prepare and issue manual cheques as required by client
▪ Work well under pressure while adhering to and meeting strict
deadlines
▪ Build healthy working relationship with clients as well as
peers
▪ Identify and escalate issues to manager in a timely manner for
quick resolution
▪ Knowledge of Employment Standards to ensure compliance
▪ Maintain knowledge and keep up to date with legislative changes
▪ Prepare monthly/quarterly remittances to various provincial
agencies
▪ Reconcile and balance CRA remittances as they relate to the
payrolls
▪ Issue ROEs as required using ROE Web

Job specific competencies
▪ National Payroll Institute – (NPI) PCP Designation certification (MUST)
▪ 2 - 3 years of experience (MUST)
▪ Knowledge of accounting processes as they relate to journal entries, CRA remittances, WCB and EHT reporting and reconciliations.
▪ High level of accuracy.
▪ Strong organizational and time management skills.
▪ Ability to form relationships with clients and create confidence.
▪ Analytical, flexible and able to effectively prioritize workload.
▪ Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
▪ Thrives under pressure and is result oriented.
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office.
▪ Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
