Job Summary


We are seeking a Fractional HR Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month maternity leave Full-TIME contract. In this role, you will serve as an HR representative for our multiple clients, providing strategic and operational HR support tailored to their needs. The ideal candidate is experienced in Canadian HR practices, proactive in problem-solving, and committed to fostering fair and inclusive workplace practices.


Key Responsibilities


HR Compliance & Policy Development:

• Ensure client compliance with Canadian employment laws and regulations.

• Develop and update HR policies focusing on equity, inclusion, and accessibility.


Employee Relations:

• Support clients in handling workplace concerns with fairness and respect.

• Advise on employee relations matters, ensuring equitable outcomes.


Recruitment & Onboarding:

• Assist clients in creating inclusive recruitment and onboarding processes.

• Help build strategies to attract and retain diverse talent.


HR Strategy Development:

• Collaborate with clients to design HR strategies that align with their business goals.

• Conduct workforce planning and performance management with an inclusive approach.


Training & Development:

• Identify client training needs and recommend or facilitate professional development opportunities.

• Support the implementation of leadership and employee training programs.


HR Operations:

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

• Provide guidance on compensation, benefits, and payroll processes.


Qualifications


Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

HRPA certification (CHRP, CHRL, or CHRE) is highly preferred.


Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with expertise in Canadian employment laws.

• Experience working as an HR consultant or serving multiple clients is an asset.


Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of Canadian labour standards and human rights legislation.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Commitment to fostering respectful and inclusive workplace practices.
