Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for our client to join our team of HR professionals. As an HR Business Partner, you will align HR strategies with business objectives, providing strategic support while fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a 5-10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least five years in a senior role within the professional services industry. You should possess a deep understanding of HR practices and regulations and have the ability to drive impactful change while serving as a best-in-class advisor to the teams you support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior management, providing expert guidance on all HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and retention.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's objectives and drive employee engagement and productivity.
  • Conduct regular HR assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address challenges.
  • Manage employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures, while also promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Drive talent acquisition efforts by partnering with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, developing effective recruitment strategies, and participating in the selection process.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related topics, including performance management, career development, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and proactively implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and deliver training programs and initiatives that enhance employee skills and promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Oversee HR projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and successful outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • 5-10 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on professional services.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance regulations.
  • Proven track record in providing strategic HR support and partnering with senior management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex HR challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Professional HR certification is highly desirable.


*This is an 18 month contract role requiring 4 days in office*
