Job Summary

We are seeking a Human Resources Operations Specialist to oversee the organization's human resources function, working under the direction of our CEO and with our Safety & Compliance Coordinator.

This role will involve full recruitment, selection, and onboarding, including conducting orientation and offboarding of Team Members, primary Professional Drivers, and Owner-Operators.

The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to Managers, Team Members, and Owner-Operators on HR-related issues, including performance management, Team Member relations, and conflict resolution.

They will work in collaboration with the leadership team to create a corporate culture that embodies organizational values and drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and selection: source, screen, interview, and hire top talent
  • Onboarding: ensure a smooth transition for new employees, including orientation and training
  • HR administration: maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with legislation, and administer group benefits and pension programs
  • Communication: build relationships with stakeholders, including Team Members, Managers, and external partners


Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Operations Specialist with:

  • A post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or another related field
  • Certification as a Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or working towards it
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a human resources generalist with an emphasis on recruitment and selection
  • Knowledge of Canadian employment law and regulations


Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Working Conditions

This role is based in Sebringville, ON, with the option to work remotely two days a week.
