Sweet Thea Bakery on Main Street is excited about our new location at 32nd and Main.

With all brand new equipment, we are looking for an inspired cook who can complement our stellar baking and coffee menu with a light bakery-forward breakfast, lunch, and brunch service.

No deep fryers, a bright and dynamic environment, and - best of all - you will be home by 8pm.


We are a real scratch bakery, using only clean whole ingredients for a very popular line of sourdough breads, pastries, and some savory items.

We have about 24 seats inside, and are already busy.

We are looking for someone creative to assist in building our new menu and takeaway items, using our baked goods and locally sourced seasonal ingredients.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist Thea in managing all aspects of the kitchen operations
  • Food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist Thea to develop new menu items and specials
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
  • Proficient in cooking techniques and various cuisines
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
