This is a permanent role based out of Calgary.

What would you be doing?

  • Shape the organization's workforce through strategic planning, team leadership, and handson recruitment activities.
  • Sourcing and hiring Corporate and top tier talent roles.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the recruitment team to achieve objectives and enhance processes including performance management
  • Design and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy, including job posting optimization and digital marketing.
  • Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion in recruitment efforts.
  • Enhance and promote the company's employer brand and reputation in the job market.
  • Monitor and report on crucial recruitment metrics to optimize strategies and processes.
  • Occasional travel to job fairs, college recruiting events, and networking functions.
  • Maintain standard working hours with flexibility during peak recruitment periods.

Does this sound like you?- 5 years of proven experience as a Recruitment Manager or similar role, focusing on corporate/salaried positions.- Proficient in HR and recruitment software (e.g., ATS, CRM platforms) and social media for recruitment.- Ability to strategize, analyze, and solve problems effectively.- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to create and deliver reports are essential. Proficiency in building PowerPoint presentations and budget management are also required.
  • RPR Designation would be an asset.
