This is a full-time, permanent position based out of Calgary, AB. The role is hybrid, working in the office 1 day per week.

What would you be doing?

Talent Acquisition:

  • Sourcing top talent through headhunting

Recruitment Process Management:

  • Manage the endtoend recruitment process, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the selection process
  • Facilitate the background check and offer stage process
  • Participate in job fairs, campus recruiting events, and other recruitment initiatives

Collaboration and Relationship Building:

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their current and forecasted recruitment needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to fill the roles
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of departmental requirements and objectives
  • Network with industry professionals and keep abreast of developments in talent acquisition

  • Demonstrate resilience in managing the pressures associated with tight deadlines and concurrent priorities.
  • Exhibit adaptability to consistently deliver optimal performance, especially when navigating challenging situations with a quick turnaround.
  • Can demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with many diverse types of hiring managers.
  • Possess and leverage robust negotiation skills to effectively navigate and secure mutually beneficial agreements throughout the recruitment process.
  • Working knowledge of HR practices and labour legislation.
