Senior Director, Infrastructure & Capital Projects

Alvarez & Marsal ("A&M") is a leading independent global professional services firm, specializing in providing turnaround management, performance improvement and corporate advisory services.

Drawing on a strong operational heritage and hands-on-approach, our professionals work closely with organizations and stakeholders to help tackle complex business issues and maximize value.

Our Infrastructure and Capital Projects practice is comprised of over 600 sector experts and specialized consultants across the Globe.

We combine strategic and operational expertise with a deep technical knowledge to support developers, sponsors, lenders, and projects leader to select, structure, improve and execute Capital Projects in a more efficient and sustainable way.

We are expanding our Infrastructure & Capital Projects business and are searching for leaders in the western and eastern regions of Canada.

Lead the execution of work fronts with expertise, identifying improvement initiatives and actively engaging with the client in all phases of the project.

Lead meetings and presentations with both client and A&M's managerial and executive levels, demonstrating confidence and mastery of the topics discussed.

Develop and manage strategic partnerships for business growth.
Work with a creative mindset to co-create solutions and offer innovative approaches to address client challenges.

Take advantage of industry network and influence to identify and develop new business opportunities for I&CP and other Business Units.

Facilitate analyses to guide project delivery, proposing action plans and demonstrating confidence in decision-making.
Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related major
~+10 years of proven experience in business development and/or infrastructure project management.
~ Experience in management consulting for infrastructure and capital projects industries such as Energy, Oil & Gas, Mining, Water, Transportation, etc.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to articulate to senior members of target management, client representatives and colleagues
Strong project management and negotiation skills
