Job Description

The Senior Recruitment Specialist supports effective recruitment sourcing strategies for the Company. They identify gaps in sourcing and screening processes, focusing on both passive and active candidates to develop talent pipelines. Additionally, they provide talent acquisition solutions based on stakeholder needs and oversee the Recruitment Business Unit in the absence of the Recruitment Lead.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Perform full cycle recruitment, including resume screening, interviews, and candidate offers.
  • Generate various reports like daily, weekly, and quarterly metrics.
  • Collaborate with Recruitment Leads on candidate sourcing strategies.
  • Build relationships with internal teams to understand hiring needs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on recruitment processes.
  • Offer coaching and mentorship to team members.
  • Communicate effectively with operational teams on recruitment-related matters.
  • Assume the role of Recruitment Manager when necessary.
  • Utilize various recruiting sources to find quality candidates.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Requirements
  • 5+ years of corporate recruitment experience.
  • RPR designation and CPHR considered assets.
  • Educational background in Human Resources or related field with relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and HR practices.
  • Experience in recruiting technical specialists and professionals.
  • Proficiency in sourcing platforms and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
