Reporting to the Manager, Provincial Addiction and Mental Health, the Coordinator I requires a high degree of critical thinking, logístical, organization skills, problem solving and the ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams to support the coordination and other associated duties necessary to support the provincial AHS AMH knowledge translation, research and evaluation projects.

The incumbent works to support provincial Addiction and Mental Health by providing support for knowledge translation, research, and evaluation to support the development and dissemination of best practices and evidence-based services in addiction and mental health.

The functions of the team include knowledge translation, planning, data analysis and reporting, evaluation, and research support. Key responsibilities include Knowledge Translation/Exchange - prepare research/evaluation materials under the direction of supervisor.

Collect, compile, and summarize existing literature and research results to be incorporated into PowerPoint and graphics presentations, posters, models, case studies and research team publications.

Literature searches/ reviews - Provide general research and writing assistance. Website - Help monitor, update and write materials for the Research Partnership Program website. Data collection and analysis - Support research/evaluation through surveys and other methods as appropriate. Analysis of data for reports or summaries.

Collaboration/communication - provide liaison and communication with others involved in research or evaluation work (internal to AHS or external as appropriate) in support of research and/or evaluation projects.

Must be able to work individually or with a team.
