Senior IT Project Coordinator to Drive Business Success in the Public Sector

S I Systems is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Coordinator to lead IT projects and drive business success within the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate IT projects from start to finish, ensuring deliverables meet scope, schedule, and client expectations.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and team members, providing weekly status reports.
  • Use project management methodologies and governance tools to manage resources and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide technical advice and document technical recommendations for management and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with change management processes.
  • Collaborate with IT teams on project rollout and quality control on production implementations.
  • Review new technology requests and assess their operational impact, offering remediation recommendations.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator
  • 5 years of experience developing project deliverables such as project charters, business cases, briefing notes, and status reports.
  • 5 years of experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • 5 years of experience defining project scope and goals with business stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience in a project management role.

Nice to Have:

  • 2 years of experience in project coordination of government and vendor-wide IT initiatives.
  • 4 years of experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
  • 5 years of experience leading change management and communication planning.
  • 3 years of experience working in or for the public sector.
