Scope of the Position


Responsible for the timely placement of purchase orders and delivery of materials to meet customer order requirements and maintain stock inventory levels within approved guidelines.


Major Responsibilities

  • Purchase material for inventory and nonstock items for customer orders
  • Process purchase requisitions
  • Review purchase orders and release to vendors
  • Receive and track order acknolwledgement, update and maintain ETA in ERP
  • Resolve errors on purchase orders as required
  • Resolve purchase order descrepancies with vendors
  • Prevent stock outs and expedite open purchase orders
  • Assist with stock rotations
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Training

  • High School Diploma required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year related experience
  • Experience with ERP system preferred.
