Administrative Support Professional

We are seeking highly motivated and organized individuals to provide temporary support and coverage in various departments on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and typing
  • Respond to inquiries and create and maintain manual and computer files and reports
  • Assist with special projects and assignments as required

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education plus a minimum of 3 years of administrative and customer service experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and provide support to busy departments
  • Knowledge of office practices and procedures, including experience operating standard office equipment
  • Accurate typing and data entry speed
  • Formal training and experience using Microsoft Office suite products, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Previous experience with a centralized electronic document management system, such as Tempest, Maximo, Amanda, Cognos, Markview, and performing purchase orders

Working Conditions:

  • Available to provide auxiliary coverage during City Hall business hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Competitive salary ranging from $22.12 to $29.13 per hour plus an additional 12% in lieu of benefits
