About the Role
At Safe Fleet, we are a leading provider of fleet safety solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a critical role in capturing new business opportunities and driving growth for our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage proposals for RFPs and RFIs, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering, to ensure proposals are competitive and meet customer needs.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain bid spec documents and templates to support sales efforts.
- Manage cooperative purchasing programs, including contract administration and compliance.
- Provide training and support to sales personnel on cooperative contract requirements and utilization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in proposal development and business development, preferably in the law enforcement industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with ability to develop high-quality documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe or Nuance PDF creator.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
