This is an exciting opportunity being offered to members of the community that are interested in learning more about technical support roles and SOTI's products.

This program is subsidized by SOTI and offered free of charge to those selected to participate.

Admission Criteria for technical support workshop:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic and collaborative
  • Ability to break down and simplify technical concepts
  • Ability to be empathetic and positive while managing challenging situations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Spanish/French/Portuguese would be an asset.
  • Experience with any of the following would be considered an asset:
  • Networking
  • Database
  • Cloud
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Exposure to mobile computing platforms (Android, iOS, Windows
  • Mobile and Blackberry)
  • Understanding of OSI model and computer networking principles
- (Firewalls, Network Protocols and Subnetting)

  • Must be able to attend all scheduled classroom sessions from February 6th to February 08th, 2023 from 9am to 5pm.
