- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
- Skills: Excellent technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient, and organized, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster, and supports them with foreign credential recognition and mentorship programs.
- Support for Youth: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth and provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Veterans: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans, and offers workshops, counselling services, or other resources to help Veterans navigate their transition into the civilian workforce.
- Support for Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Support for Mature Workers: Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination, provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers, and offers phased retirement options.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
