Amazon Ads helps brands delight customers and deliver meaningful results. With our first-party insights, 300+ million worldwide active customer accounts, Amazon properties (including Amazon.ca, Prime Video, Twitch and others), and third-party publishers and exchanges, brands can reach relevant audiences on and off Amazon.
Account Executive on our Home, Toys and Fashion team in Canada, you will use your industry background and experience selling advertising solutions to large advertisers and their ad agencies in Canada to successfully grow and scale their business. Through client-side and agency relationships, a consultative approach and understanding of the digital advertising and linear TV landscape, you will act as a strategic partner to your assigned brands or clients and sell a broad range of advertising solutions to help meet - and exceed - their business goals. As an individual contributor, you’ll be supported by our cross-functional support teams and will benefit from working alongside the leadership team that has charted the explosive growth of the Ads business in Canada.
Deliver high level of sales and customer service to our agency and brand media clients.
• Demonstrate internal leadership across account team and partner groups.
• Identify net new revenue opportunities from existing advertisers.
• Understand Amazon's display, video, and programmatic advertising opportunities and tools to help build relevant advertising solutions for our advertisers.
• Utilize Sales CRM tools to track pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast to achieve quarterly quota goals.
• Home, Kitchen, Floor Care) and/or Toys industry and competitive environment.
• This role requires a minimum of three days a week working from the Toronto office and will require travel as needed.
5+ years of B2B sales experience
- 7+ years of digital media ad sales experience
- Experience closing sales and revenue generation
Experience identifying and aggregating trends, past performance metrics, and insights into effective narratives, with recommendations, to external senior leaders
- Experience building client and agency ad partnerships
