Territory Sales Manager – Wine
Greater Vancouver, BC
Our client, a leading Canadian agency specializing in beverage alcohol products, is looking for a new member of their sales team. Jackson Stewart of Lock Search Group is on the hunt is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Territory Sales Manager to join their dynamic BC Sales Team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a strong background in sales, customer service, and the wine & spirits industry.
The Territory Sales Manager will drive territory growth by implementing sales plans, meeting targets, and securing new business through strong sales and customer service skills. Build and maintain client relationships, manage expenses, and execute marketing initiatives to boost brand awareness. Ensure effective merchandising and participate in promotional events as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet established targets and service standards
- Effectively merchandise product displays to optimize customer engagement
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships across the BCL retail channel
- Operate within an approved expense budget while driving sales growth
- Attend promotional and special sales events as required
- Implement marketing and promotional initiatives to enhance brand visibility
Qualifications:
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Outstanding customer service abilities with a focus on communication, follow-through, and problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Valid BC driver's license with the ability to travel for events, customer visits, and meetings
- Flexible availability for evening and weekend work as required
- Current Smart Serve Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and navigating stairs
