Outside Sales Representative

**Job Description/Requirements: Outside Sales/Account Manager**
**Territory: Greater Vancouver/Vancouver Island**
**Key Responsibilities, but not limited to**:
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success for
- Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers
- Forecast and track key account metrics of your territory utilizing the Telenotes CRM; this will include wholesale/retail showrooms and second-step distributors
- Develop positive and trusting relationships with existing customers while handling their needs on an individual basis
- Generate new sales using existing and potential customer networks
- Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
- Liaise between the customer and internal team
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Promote all decorative products that we represent via sales calls, trainings, lunch & learns, etc.
- Maintain updated knowledge of company products and services
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Work with wholesale outside and inside sales teams to identify opportunities and develop relationships with their customer base
- Attend trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
- Communicate all promotions, spiffs, etc. to the necessary contacts in your customers base
**Requirements**:
- Proven account management or other relevant experience
- Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of sales or marketing experience with agency background desirable
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Understanding of the plumbing industry a plus
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Proactive attitude; always looking to improve inefficient processes
- Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
- Expert at Microsoft Office Suite of products
- Travel and events outside of regular hours is required
**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
