Brief description of the position :

In order to grow its market share and serve its clientele in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical

segment, FOP CONSULTANTS is currently looking for a business development manager motivated to

achieve its objectives. Passionate about the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical segment, the main

missions would be to approach potential clients for service proposals, identify the real needs of clients

in his market segment in terms of resources and projects, propose strategies for service offerings, learn

about the market to detect opportunities and threats, acquire and manage teams of consultants, meet

and exceed objectives and if necessary, manage budgets.

Main responsibilities:

Without limitation, the main tasks involve:

  • Get informed on the market segments and the services offered by the company;
  • Prospect the firm's services to potential clients and be the main point of contact;
  • Identify the real needs of the clients, propose tailor-made solutions;
  • Design and implement market development strategies and monitor KPIs;
  • Coordinate the implementation of a digital marketing strategy and communication plan;
  • Optimize and update social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and website to increase visibility and reach targeted customers;
  • Optimize digital advertising campaigns and produce performance reports;
  • Collaborate in the acquisition and management of consultants;
  • Participate or implement marketing programs and activities and collaborate on the design of marketing tools;
  • Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the organization as well as the opportunities and threats in its market segment and make proposals to maintain a competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration (BA, MBA), Commerce or Marketing;
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or science (an asset);
  • 1 (one) to 10 (ten) years of industry experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or cosmetic sector;
  • Experience in a business development, marketing or sales position (an asset);
  • Excellent sense of customer service and B2B business relationship;
  • Experience in managing a multidisciplinary team (an asset);
  • Experience in developing a strategic plan to achieve objectives;
  • Knowledge of Health Canada regulations, FDA (an asset);
  • Good knowledge of optimization techniques in search engine and in social networks (SEO, SEA, SMA, SMO);
  • Knowledge of Google analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager.
  • Knowledge of Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), (an asset);
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite;
  • Good ability to write and communicate in French and English
