At TeraXion, a Business Development Manager...

Identifies and prioritizes key market segments and target customers for business development efforts;

Develops and implements stra tegic business development plans to achieve corporate objectives;

Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners and industry influencers, to understand their needs and preferences;

Leads the development contract sales process, from initial contact through to negotiation and contract closure; 

Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, marketing and finance, to ensure successful execution of business development initiatives; Keeps abreast of industry trends, market developments and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks; Provides management with regular reports and updates on business development activities, progress and results; Represents the company at events, conferences and trade shows to showcase our capabilities and expand our network.

Your profile...

Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, science or related field; Minimum 10 years' experience in communications and optical sensing, with a track record of success in technical business development; Bilingualism (French and English), oral and written; English is required to ensure adequate communication with English-speaking customers and the head office in California. Strong understanding of technical products and solutions, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences; Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills; Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders; Results-oriented strategic thinker with a passion for business growth.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; Willingness to travel abroad as required.
