Steve Madden is seeking a highly organized and proactive Account/Operations Coordinator to act as a vital link between our major wholesale accounts and internal teams. Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for major wholesale accounts, efficiently managing orders, inquiries, and operational requests.
Order Management: Oversee the entire order lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely order processing, shipping, and delivery.
Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Resolve operational issues such as delays, shipping complications, and discrepancies, ensuring timely resolutions and customer satisfaction.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail accounts, offering proactive communication and exceptional service.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with retailer guidelines, including EDI, routing, and documentation requirements.
Assist in pre-sale and post-sale activities, including order entry, contract management, and coordination of promotional efforts.
Experience: 3+ years in account management, operations coordination, or a similar role, ideally within the wholesale fashion industry, especially with large retail clients such as DSW, Soft Moc, etc.
Operational Expertise: In-depth knowledge of wholesale order processes, supply chain management, and logistics within the fashion industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to professionally manage sensitive customer issues.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing orders, data entry, and customer inquiries.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with ERP and SAP systems is preferred.
Time Management: Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities.
