To help support our experiences, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team. As a leader in our guest experience, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for our patrons. Collaborating closely with staff and kitchen team, you will contribute to the overall success of our establishment by managing daily operations, implementing high standards of customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage staff to ensure compliance with company policies and job duties.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels for food, liquor, cleaning supplies, linens, and merchandise.
  • Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and comfortable for guests.
  • Serve as the primary contact for tour-related communications.
  • Oversee staff schedules and provide payroll support.
  • Train service staff to deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Conduct meetings to communicate schedules, responsibilities, and updates.
  • Address and resolve personnel issues during the tour.
  • Develop and curate Food & Beverage menus to align with event themes and customer preferences.
  • Lead liquor permit negotiations and establish strategic supplier partnerships.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain effective communication between the production team and the technical Tour Manager.
  • Handle merchandise purchases and stock management.
  • Implement tracking systems and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure respectful and efficient patron treatment.
  • Oversee reservation systems.
  • Manage front desk operations to create a positive first impression.
  • Maintain dressing rooms and monitor artistic direction on tour.
  • Organize advance casting for other venues with production and creative studio support.
  • Manage costume maintenance.
  • Handle VIP media relations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a front-of-house management role, with at least 4-6 years' experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience in managing daily operations and staff in a similar setting.
  • Strong background in Food & Beverage management and menu development.
  • Experience in negotiating with suppliers and managing liquor permits.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee merchandise inventory and implement tracking systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in training staff to deliver high-quality service.
  • Ability to maintain effective communication channels between different departments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing inventory and facility maintenance.
  • Experience in handling payroll support and managing staff schedules.
  • Proven ability to handle VIP media relations and coordinate logistics.
  • Knowledge of costume maintenance and ensuring they are in good condition.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve personnel issues effectively.
  • Bilingual in French/English is an asset
