We are currently partnered with a high-growth consumer eCommerce company that are seeking a commercially minded, eCommerce focused National Account Manager to support the growth of the business across Canada.

Reporting directly to the Country Director, this person will ensure the qualitative presence, visibility and merchandising of the brand in major eCommerce channels and Big Box retailers in order to increase the sell out and build out the company’s market share through the acquisition of new partners.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for driving sales through new business initiatives through creating and implementing retailer-centric strategies. To be successful in this role the National Account Manager will need to build a direct relationship with the buyers and the Category/Marketing team ensuring a close relationship and to be the partner of choice.

The National Account Manager will need to analyse the account performance and will look to make recommendations to improve. The candidate will lead weekly meetings with Buyers to discuss sales results, promotional activities and will scope opportunities for new business in the broader B2B category. This role is responsible for the forecasting, reporting and managing the budgets for these customers, including full accountability for the P&L of each account.

Requirements:

  • A keen understanding on eCommerce; must have a strong track record of managing vendor businesses on Amazon, Walmart, or other major eCommerce vendor channels in North America.
  • Experience owning a budget, along with forecasting and P&L management.
  • Able to spot opportunities and design new strategies within this role to promote growth instore and online.
  • Excellent internal and external customer relationship management, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • A natural at building relationships along with strong communication skills with people at all levels
  • Shows initiative, has a can-do attitude and a growth mindset
  • Knowledge of supply/demand planning, account analysis and forecasting.
  • Experience working across/with omnichannel retailers
  • Able to commute 3x p/w to the Central York area using own vehicle
