Administrative Assistant: Part-time, temporary
RoleThis is a part-time fixed-term contrcat with a focus on data entry and administrative coordination. The Administrative (Admin) Assistant will be responsible for helping with administrative tasks concerning a professional training program, including contacting participants, entering data, and mailing course completion certificates.
The Admin Assistant will report directly to the CEO and spend the bulk of their time gathering and organizing information. The Admin Assistant has excellent attention to detail, is a fast learner, has experience with spreadsheets, and works well with limited supervision. Furthermore, they have excellent oral and written communication skills and can organize work effectively.
Responsibilities- Data entry - populating an existing database.
- Organizing and cleaning existing databases and archive.
- Printing, obtaining signatures, and mailing course completion certificates.
- Communicating with course participants, university staff, and internal contacts.
- Ability to work independently
- Fast learner
- High level of attention to detail
- Proficiency with spreadsheet programs and Google Drive
- Experience in an administrative role
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Part-time contract May through June 2024. Approximately 10-20 hours per week.
- The successful candidate must be able to work onsite at Limestone’s downtown Kingston office.
- The hourly rate for this position is $25-$30 CAD per hour
- Ability to work independently
