~ Develop and implement HR strategies that align HR policies, projects, and programs with the organization's goals and objectives.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, interviews, short-list selection, and coordination of onboarding of new employees and develop plans for key role replacement.
Establish performance evaluation processes and systems, and ensure regular assessments are conducted in a manner that promotes employee growth.
Assist managers and directors in identifying skill gaps, and organize training programs to enhance employee competencies and career development.
Ensure all HR practices comply with local, provincial, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Design and manage competitive compensation structures and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
Develop, update, and enforce best-practice-informed HR policies and procedures.
Prepare and manage the HR department's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Collaborate with senior management to contribute to business strategy from an HR perspective.
Lead the HR team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Implement health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Implement and manage HR information systems to improve efficiency and data management.

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is essential.
~ Master's Degree (Preferred): An advanced degree such as a Master's in Human Resource Management or an MBA is often preferred and can enhance strategic understanding.
~ Comprehensive understanding of local, provincial, and federal employment laws and regulations
Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and other relevant software tools.

Sensitivity to diversity and inclusion, promoting an inclusive workplace culture.
Ability to understand and manage one's own emotions and those of others to foster strong working relationships.
