Our client, a leader in their respective manufacturing niche, is looking to add a Bilingual HR Generalist to their team in Concord, ON.


The role requires travel of upto 15% of the time (once for 2-3 days every 6 weeks) to their facility in Quebec.


Duties:


- Source candidates, conduct interviews, and make hiring recommendations.

- Manage employee benefits, including enrollment and inquiries.

- Maintain records and ensure compliance with regulations.

- Address employee relations issues and facilitate conflict resolution.

- Conduct new hire orientations and support onboarding.

- Assist with training, development, and performance management.

- Implement HR policies and collaborate with management on HR practices.

- Prepare HR metrics and reports.

- Oversee health and safety programs, conduct inspections, and manage training.

- Investigate incidents and work with the Joint Health and Safety Committee to promote safety.


Requirements:


- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.

- 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Fluent in English and French.

- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Discretion with confidential information.

- Proficient in HRIS and MS Office.

- CHRP or CHRL certification is a plus.
