Carroll Technologies Group, a well-established and growing provider of products to the mining and construction industries is looking for a seasoned Sales Manager to establish and manage its Canadian division.

Sales experience in mining and construction fields throughout Canada is required while a deep understanding of the electrical, safety and electronics business would be a plus.


Carroll Technologies principal activities include:

  • Environmental Monitoring
  • Collision avoidance/ proximity detection
  • Multi-gas detection instruments
  • Equipment health monitoring
  • Motor controls and exchange
  • Tracking and communications (underground)
  • SCST/CCER
  • OEM circuit breakers program
  • Factory authorized repairs & calibration


Travel is required for this position, including some travel to the US home office located in Kentucky. Onsite customer visits are also required, which may require some overnight travel.


REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate will be a self- motivated experienced manager, with a demonstrated ability to lead a fast-growing business.

  • Strong work ethic
  • Great communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • 5 years sales management experience
  • Industry contacts in the Mining and Construction fields


JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a sales-oriented manager that is ready to join our fast-growing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the Canadian operation from the ground up. You will be pitching and on-boarding new customers, establishing a service center in Ontario and overseeing the rapid deployment of Carroll Technologies key offerings. You will do everything from quoting new business to being an active participant in the group marketing initiatives.
