Position Overview: BK Whiskey is seeking a dynamic and driven Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the alcoholic beverage industry and a robust network of industry contacts. This role requires a proactive individual who is eager to engage in extensive footwork, facilitate product distribution across Canada, and contribute to expanding our presence internationally. The candidate must be prepared to spend up to 50% of their time traveling to build and maintain business relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Actively prospect and build relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to drive sales growth and expand market presence.
  • Footwork and Networking: Utilize a large network of industry contacts to generate new leads, secure distribution channels, and drive product sales.
  • Product Distribution: Oversee and manage the distribution process for BK Whiskey products across Canada, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Travel: Spend up to 50% of work time traveling to meet clients, attend industry events, and explore new business opportunities.
  • Market Expansion: Assist in identifying and pursuing opportunities for international market entry and expansion.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, market insights, and feedback to the management team to inform strategy and decision-making.


Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the alcoholic beverage industry, with a proven track record of sales success and business development.
  • Network: Established a network of contacts within the industry, including distributors, retailers, and key decision-makers.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Canada and potentially internationally.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Self-motivation: Highly motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • International Experience: Experience or connections in international markets is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the alcoholic beverage market, including trends and regulations.
