Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated IT Infrastructure Specialist for a 6-month contract. This role involves hands-on maintenance and optimization of IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of client PCs, servers, and networking environments. You'll be responsible for configuring and deploying computer hardware, supporting Active Directory, and collaborating on critical IT projects. This is a demanding position that requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and performance.


Job Summary:

  • Maintain IT Infrastructure:
  • Optimize and support client PCs, servers, and networking environments.
  • Configure and deploy computer hardware across various settings.
  • Active Directory Management:
  • Manage and support Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
  • Device and Equipment Setup:
  • Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining IT devices and equipment.
  • Tool Utilization:
  • Utilize Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft InTune, and Windows Autopilot.
  • Use MS PowerShell for automation and management tasks.
  • Project Collaboration:
  • Collaborate on IT projects, including hardware refreshes.
  • Ensure adherence to IT processes and procedures.
  • Technical Documentation:
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
  • Keep precise records of client asset inventory.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Technology, with 1-3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and 5-7 years of experience.
  • Strong safety awareness.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of current Microsoft Windows Client and Server operating systems.
  • Proactive learning and troubleshooting approach.
  • Ability to escalate issues and collaborate effectively with vendors.


Preferred:

  • Microsoft certifications.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with a range of Microsoft technologies and ITSM tools.
  • ITIL certification.
