Responsibilities:
Job Summary
We are looking for a Desktop SCCM/Imaging Specialist to join our IT team and provide Windows build support to our clients. You will be responsible for maintaining Windows Desktop imaging within an SCCM environment. This includes maintaining and updating Windows Desktop images for feature updates and security patches, SCCM task sequences, application packaging and deployment, Desktop/Laptop driver updates. Experience with Intune co-management and Autopilot is also desirable for the client’s future roadmap.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain Windows image/builds, SCCM task sequences, application packages, security updates, and drivers for laptops and desktops according to company standards and policies
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner
- Provide support to Desktop build engineers
- Monitor and maintain the security and performance of laptops and desktops, including antivirus, updates, backups, and encryption
- Document and report any incidents, problems, or requests using the ticketing system
- Coordinate with other IT staff and vendors to ensure the quality and availability of IT services
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in desktop support
Job Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in desktop support or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, SCCM, Office 365, Active Directory, laptop and desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be able to work on site and travel to different locations as needed
