Our client, a premier manufacturer of high-end window shading products requires a highly motivated sales representative to grow the SW region of Ontario.
In order to effectively manage this region, you need to live in the area, roughly from Milton to Windsor.
This company is well established, and they boast a large, loyal client base who trust them to provide high quality products and on-time project completion. The team you will be joining is committed to excellence and that is what they will expect.
Additionally, potential for scheduled but infrequent trips northern Ontario is required.
This position requires a fully functional home-based office.

  • 5 years of successful outside sales in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry in a sales capacity.
  • Strong connections to developers, architects, project managers, property owners, general contractors, electrical contractors, designers, etc.
  • Knowledge of the market in your region. Who is doing what, where, when.
  • A hunter mentality with a strong commitment to relationship building and nurturing.
  • Subscription to a “sell the value’ versus “sell the price” philosophy.
  • Possess the discipline to be self governed and self directed.
  • Opportunistic. Always searching for opportunities.
  • An effective communicator.
  • An expert at identifying and then getting in front of the right people.
  • Understanding the importance of managing the CRM and reporting on progress/delays.
  • Understanding the importance of all players in the organization and acknowledgement of their efforts.
  • Basic understand of architectural drawings, and lingo
  • A need to be the best. Commitment to the numbers and the drive to achieve them.
