Shifts Available:
Monday to Friday, 12:30pm to 9:00pm Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00am to 5:30pm Tuesday to Friday, 12:30pm to 9:00pm and Saturday, 9:00am to 5:30pmMajor Responsibilities and Duties:
Audit inbound and outbound product. Provide quality control by physically opening product boxes and investigating potential product damage. Accurately input data in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Act as a liaison between Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operators and Logistics Coordinators (LC). Assist with facility inventory management. Able to comfortably lift/move 50 pounds of product. Work in a fast-paced environment packaging products to be shipped. Moving product to correct locations by reading & scanning labels. Ensure tasks get done on time and accurately. Able to work independently as well as in a team focused environment. Actively communicate with supervisors and colleagues to notify them of problems/concerns. Demonstrate respect for the organization’s values daily, while maintaining and upholding company policies & procedures. Material Handling Equipment (MHE) training is considered an asset. Other duties as required.Health and Safety:
Follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act including Safety, Violence and Harassment laws. Work in a healthy and safe manner following Metro’s policies and procedures. Hi-visibility vests and steel toe shoes/boots required. Report any hazards you find in the workplace to your supervisor. Must not use or operate equipment in a manner that would endanger yourself or others.Education:
Some High School, preferably a High School DiplomaExperience:
