Position Summary:

This position will provide operational administrative and entry-level management and leadership support to the Transportation and Warehouse Departments.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Capture and report on all restaurant Performance trendingResponsible for Pride data collection and entryAnalyze preventative maintenance schedules and determine opportunities & recommend actionsTrack employee attendance and summarize monthlyCoordinate all quality and improvement related initiatives including but not limited to HACCP; DQMP; CI (Continuous Improvement) AuditCoordinate Accounts Payable function and associated activitiesCoordinate Payroll function and associated activitiesEnsure P-Card invoice collection, reconciliation and signature authorizationOrdering uniforms and other essential outerwearMaintaining and coordinating equipment logs, driver awards, lockers, supplies; chep pallet invoicing, e-learning; hotel bookingsCoordinate e-learning completionPreparing First Aid/Injury/Collision Packages Coordinating weekly bid assignment; driver notificationsProvide administrative support to the Modified Work ProgramNew Hire paperwork/document – ensuring accurate and timely completionUpdating of lot diagramsCoordination and planning for vacation schedules for hourly employeesVacation replacement coverage – 20%Coordinate driver awardsPerforming Safety Audits as requiredManage all basic supervisory functions in 3-hour afternoon overlap windowAll other administrative support duties as applicable including file maintenance

Required Skills and Experience:

Requires a post-secondary education in Supply Chain/Logistics or a related field, or equivalent experiencePrevious experience in an operations role at a high-volume, food service distribution centre – an assetAbility to work well under pressure while working independently or as a team playerAnalytical, detail oriented, highly accurate, conscientious and dependableStrong interpersonal, customer service, presentation and organizational skills to oversee staffProblem solving skills, ability to manage customer expectationsDemonstrates a positive attitude that sets an example for othersMaintain a sense of urgency, strong multi-tasking and priority managementHighly proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, Access and OutlookStrong leadership/Supervisory qualities ‘a must’ as this position is an entry-level management roleExperience with warehouse management systems an asset (JD Edwards an asset).This only a representative list of the general duties you may be asked to perform and is not intended to be all-inclusive
