The Senior HR Platforms Analyst (Learning Technology) plays a key role in supporting the design and implementation of HR enterprise learning technology systems and leveraging technology to make process improvements that support the strategic business objectives at Co-operators. Working with external vendors and internal customers, the Senior HR Platforms Analyst will play a key role in recommending, maintaining and supporting learning technology enhancements based on business needs and technology gaps. They will collaborate with internal clients to pinpoint areas of improvement and suggest modifications, configurations and tailored features to optimize the system.
The role is responsible for learning systems maintenance, monitoring system performance, platforms releases, requirements gathering, troubleshooting of issues, mapping of current processes, and review/monitor product releases, service packs and identify the impacts to the organizational users. Additionally, they will support end-user issues at a Tier 1-2 level with the aim to resolve prior to escalating to tier 3. You will partner closely with the HR Talent Development team as well as serve stakeholders in the various learning teams across the organization.
How you will create impact:
Act as the Learning Technologies Subject Matter Expert, ensuring our learning technologies are current, optimized and ever evolving to meet the needs of the business. This will include, implementation and enhancements of existing & new functionalities. Implement process improvements and policy changes designed to improve efficiency and the user experience with the learning system in partnership with the HR Talent Development team. Lead and initiate the configuration, automation and process changes required for various peripheral systems and interfaces to ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Ensure data integrity and security within the LMS, including backups, updates, and compliance with relevant regulations. Maintain comprehensive and accurate system configuration and process documentation. This documentation may encompass the LMS user manual, processes, features, configurations, course structures, and security protocols. Support HR Platforms (learning technologies) cyclical activities including production defects resolution and perform root cause analysis to determine cause of system defects, recommends and implement solutions related to Learning Technologies Uses systems knowledge to identify improvement opportunities, recommends solutions and translates them into requirements and liaises between IT and third parties to integrate systems requirements; participate in technology communities and discussions boards to identify possible solutions

To join our team:
You have 5+years of proven experience within a Human Resources Systems department, including 5+ years of operational experience supporting Learning Technologies Systems, such a learning management system or learning experience platforms. You have post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resource Management or a related discipline. Experience with Learning Management Systems, Cornerstone SBX an asset, systems configurations, learning experience design and other related technologies such as LinkedIn Learning. You have strong analytical skills and sound technical knowledge of Learning Systems, databases, automation, reporting and related processes and workflows. You have a good understanding of the system development lifecycle and experience working in an agile delivery environment. Prior experience participating in process improvement activities.

Detail oriented work that requires a moderate degree of mental concentration for extended periods of time. Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required. This role may involve direct contact with clients and/or service providers in their environment.
