Project Coordinator

Your role within the Team:
Responsible for assigned scope of the project and accountable for performing duties that facilitate work progressing with safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contractual requirements. Liaise with key stakeholders as required generally including engineering, construction, quality client & subcontractors. Maintain a positive relationship with client project counterparts. Responsible for helping implement the project schedule and track budget for assigned engineering, procurement, construction segments of the project. Coordinates with Engineering to ensure that the technical documents are prepared in support of the project. Coordinates the preparation and delivery of project deliverables. Provides status and progress reports in support of the Project Manager. Ensure work is performed within quality program requirements. Ensure a strong nuclear safety culture is reinforced continuously. Employee may be assigned to short-term field service assignments on Candu Field Services projects, typically during a customer’s outages. During these assignments, the employee may be requested to perform work in a radiological work environment, once trained and qualified, and under the supervision of radiation protection personnel.Why choose AtkinsRéalis as an employer?

Experience supporting various type of projects including construction, manufacturing or engineering services projects considered an asset. Experience in construction management Experience in construction planning Experience in contractor management Experience in CANDU procurement processes as applied to construction subcontractAn appreciation of the importance of Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry considered an asset. University degree or equivalent, BSc in CIVIL Engineering considered an asset. Fluency in other languages (Korean, Mandarin, Romanian, Spanish, French) will be considered an asset. Open to various work locations in both field and office.
