**We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator on a full-time basis for restoration & waterproofing projects in GTA, ON.**

Sibwest Building Restoration Inc. is a reliable and knowledgeable restoration contractor with proven industry expertise. We specialize in building restoration, concrete repairs, and membrane waterproofing solutions. We offer services to a wide range of building sectors, including commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects, covering all parts of Southern Ontario.

**Schedule**:
Regular Full-Time at our office located in Mississauga.

**Position Summary**:
As a project coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting construction projects and assisting the project management team with coordinating the schedule, manpower, contract administration, progress tracking and reporting, engineering, etc. This role will require continuous communication with all project team members, suppliers, and subcontractors, and will be responsible for identifying, planning and implementing various scopes of work.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carries out detailed constructability reviews to develop the take-off quantities, project schedule, manpower and procurement requirements.
- Coordinates preparation and delivery of project deliverables, design documents, shop drawings, submittal process, as-built drawings, turnover documents, etc.
- Assist in overall construction coordination, planning, identifying potential risks and resolving technical field issues.
- Assist in the coordination of all parties involved in the projects, such as engineers, developers, site supervisors, contractors, authorities, subcontractors and labourers.
- Provides status and progress reports to clients, project team, and management.
- Coordinates all site procurement activities, including validation of material specifications, preparation of purchase requisitions, materials tracking and ensuring traceability of materials when installed in the field.
- Prepare and maintain project filing system for office and job sites.
- Identify construction schedules and activities/conflicts that could delay the project schedule and coordinate with site supervisors and other parties to resolve schedule delays.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs and information for Work Orders, permits, drawings etc.
- Monitor fieldwork to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications and safety legislations.
- Prepare overall project closeout, including archiving documents, maintenance, and warranty.
- Performs such other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor/manager.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or Project Management.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years of construction industry experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of construction methodology, techniques, equipment, drawings and specifications, building materials, required standards and project management processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of project scheduling, work breakdown structures, critical path analysis and software products to produce scheduling resources.
- Must be detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and work as part of a team.
- Adaptable to a flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills - MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project.
- Knowledge of Planswift or Bluebeam. as an asset
- Travel throughout the GTA area may be required.
