The Role:
The CRM Administrator is responsible for the maintenance, configuration and optimal performance of our CRM system, Salesforce. The CRM Administrator collaborates with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and end-users to manage and optimize our Salesforce platform to support operations and enhance its efficiency.
The CRM administrator works directly with process owners across the organization on installation, upgrade, troubleshooting of issues and providing technical support to include assistance with GCA special events
What your day looks like:
Serve as one of the administrators for our Salesforce CRM and Amilia eCommerce platform and handle day-to-day administrative functions:
• Manages user permissions and provide necessary training and support to the users when needed.
• Provides ongoing system support, including assisting users with issues, inquiries and performing configuration changes.
• Creates reports, dashboards, workflows, and processes.
• Performs routine data health checkups, cleaning, and de-duplication.
• Supports the configuration of program registrations at Amilia eCommerce.
• Reviews upcoming new Salesforce releases, evaluates the impact on the current configuration.
• Creates documentation, including training material, error reports, and changelogs.
• Investigates and resolves problems and coordinates/follows up with Salesforce support teams, consultants, and Salesforce plugin vendors.
Work closely with the marketing department, design and deploy marketing automation, templates, and email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement:
• Takes the content provided by the subject matter experts, designs, tests, schedules, and deploys newsletters.
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders (Program, Foundation, Marketing, etc.) and creates email campaigns, including audience segmentation, A/B testing, QA, and reporting.
• Designs email templates according to GCA branding guidelines.
• Maintains the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement prospect lists, ensuring clean, complete, and accurate database.
• Reviews campaign metrics and provides recommendations for future campaign success.
Supports and collaborates with Marketing, Foundation and Programs to plan, coordinate, and execute GCA and Foundation sponsored events to include but not limited to:
• Supports the setup of paid or free event registrations using Salesforce Blackthorn Events
• Participates in the Symposium Committee to plan and implement the GCA’s Bi-Annual International Symposium.
• Provides support for website updates, registrations, and other technical issues.
• Plans and hosts community outreach and other fundraising events such as the Annual Client Holiday Party and the Annual Family Picnic.
• Assists the GCA Webinar Committee in organizing and delivering webinars.
• Works closely with Foundation and GCA leadership to brainstorm and plan new events and opportunities.
Supports the Director of Technology and Innovation with other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the role:
• Post-secondary education in related field.
• Minimum two (2) year of hands-on experience with Salesforce administration.
• Salesforce certificate.
• Experience in newsletter design and deployment, especially in Pardot will be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as SaaS platforms management, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VPN, SSL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills: identify root cause, collect details, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Highly motivated with the ability to produce quality work with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge and experience with HTML and CSS.
• Proficient in graphic design software including Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work closely with vendors, sponsors, venues, and departments.
• Superior ability to work well with others and be an effective team member.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills to keep up with various projects simultaneously.
• Satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
• Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.
