We are currently looking for a passionate and dynamic Human Resource Manager to join our client’s thriving team. As HR Manager, you will report directly to the ownership and will be responsible for the daily operation and overall efficiency of the HR department in our company.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the store team and promote a positive work environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, striving to provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
  • Manage administrative tasks and provide support to office staff.
  • Oversee office supplies, computers, and IT hardware maintenance.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, data entry and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage WSIB, EHT, HST, Source Deductions and other reports and filings.
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding.
  • Maintain proper employee records in compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Process payroll and manage employee benefits administration.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, create new policies as necessary.
  • Conduct data entry and maintenance of accurate HR databases.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as Human Resources Manager or similar role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience with payroll and benefits administration.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organization skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle sensitive information confidentially.
