The headquarters is currently looking to hire a **Human Resources Assistant**. We are seeking a passionate and results-driven individual to join our team.

**SCOPE**

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for day to day operations of Human Resources functions and duties. The incumbent will provide support to human resources processes through a broad range of services, including onboarding, records maintenance, recruitment and selection, benefits administration and special projects as required.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide day-to-day benefits administration services, including enrollment and termination, claims processing and addressing employee concerns or claim issues;
- Assist in the recruitment process and on-boarding, including job posting, scheduling interviews, etc.;
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and compile and prepare reports/analysis relating to Human Resources activities;
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable Human Resources federal and provincial requirements ;
- Research, review and recommend of Human Resources policies, procedures and programs to ensure compliance with all applicable laws;
- Assist in organizing Head Office activities, including Team building event, Health and Wellness program;
- Support daily Human Resources activities and maintain confidentiality of information accessed in accordance with Mandarin policies and procedures;
- Assist with other human resources projects as required, including the revision of the Employee Handbook;
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related discipline
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Demonstrable ability to maintain and preserve strict confidentiality
- Communicate effectively and diplomatically orally and in writing
- Attention to detail and quality
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
- Bilingual is an asset (English and Chinese)
