Community Outreach Coordinator – Kelowna, West Kelowna, Penticton, Summerland, Peachland, Lake Country

Position Summary: The Community Outreach Coordinator will play a crucial role in generating new client leads and building and nurturing relationships within the community.
This position requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for senior care, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with our internal team.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Lead Generation:

  • Develop and implement strategies to identify and attract potential clients for Senior Helpers in-home care services.
  • Identify and collaborate with local influence centers i.e.
    hospitals, senior living communities, independent and assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, respite care, hospice, home health, and physician practices to create referral networks and drive new business.
  • Attend community events, health fairs, and networking meetings to promote our services and establish connections.

Community Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, including physicians, social workers, and senior service organizations.
  • Educate the community about the benefits of in-home senior care and the services offered by Senior Helpers.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and the community, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.

Administrative and Reporting Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of outreach activities, client and referral interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on lead generation activities, and community engagement efforts.
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials and strategies to enhance outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior care, home health, or a related field.
  • HCA certification a plus
  • Proven experience in community outreach, sales, or business development preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
